Today paid character transfers are available for Aion! We want to make sure that transfers go very smoothly for those of you who want to transfer, so we are opening it in stages. This way, we can monitor it closely.
The billing site currently has the paid character transfer service available as an option. However, you will not be able to purchase a transfer until the appropriate servers hit their stage. We'll communicate as we step through the staging process described below to let you know the progress. Make sure to check our forums for further information.
Stage 1 begins today, April 27, and is targeted for approximately 18:00 p.m. BST.
We will be opening up the Siel server only in this stage for those characters who want to transfer off Siel to Zikel, Israphel, or Vaizel. To keep the servers balanced (as normal), there is a cap in place on the amount of characters that can transfer.
We'll monitor the process and verify that transfers are working smoothly for those players who participated in this stage. Then, we'll move to Stage 2.
Stage 2 begins today, April 27, and is targeted for approximately 19:30 p.m. BST.
Stage 2 opens up one of each of the different language servers in the EU. In Stage 2, those characters who want to transfer off Spatalos, Kromede, and Urtem only can transfer to the other EU servers.
As during Stage 1, we will be monitoring the process. Then, we'll move to Stage 3.
Stage 3 begins today, April 27, and is targeted for 21:30 p.m. PDT.
Once we have verified all processes are working properly, we will open up transfers for the remaining NA and EU servers. We'll continue to monitor the transfers as they progress.
